Risk prediction of having increased arterial stiffness among diabetic patients using logistic regression

Abstract:

Monitoring of the arterial condition promises an advantage in detection of any abnormalities occurred among diabetic patients. In this study, logistic regression was conducted to assess whether the three variables, which are age, level of HbA1c and auc-PPG, significantly estimate the risk of having increased arterial stiffness among diabetic patients. From the result, all the three predictor variables significantly estimate the risk of having increased arterial stiffness among diabetic patients. The result shows that the higher risk of increased arterial stiffness among diabetic patients can be estimated.
