This project focuses on developing a Visitors Meeting Arrangement System in Django Python, designed to streamline visitor registration, meeting scheduling, and security verification. The system allows visitors to pre-register online, specify meeting purposes, and receive approvals, while administrators or receptionists can manage schedules, notify hosts, and track visitor history. Built using Django with a PostgreSQL/MySQL database, the platform ensures secure authentication, seamless coordination, and a user-friendly interface for both staff and visitors.
Existing System:
Traditionally, visitor details and meeting schedules are maintained manually in registers or spreadsheets. This manual process leads to delays, lack of proper security verification, and difficulties in tracking visitor history. Existing systems may lack integration between visitor registration, host notifications, and reporting tools, which reduces operational efficiency.
Proposed System:
The proposed Visitors Meeting Arrangement System in Django Python provides a centralized platform where visitors can pre-register by entering their details, purpose of visit, and desired meeting time. Administrators or receptionists can approve or reject requests, schedule meetings, and notify hosts automatically. Features such as visitor badges, OTP-based entry verification, automated email/SMS notifications, and visitor history reports can further improve efficiency. By digitizing visitor management and meeting scheduling, the system improves security, saves time, and enhances coordination between visitors and hosts.
